End-of-Year Connect: People & Planet First Week

As the holiday season approaches, The MPN warmly invites you on Friday, 21 November 2025, from 5:30 PM for an evening of connection, reflection, and inspiration as part of People & Planet First Week. Together, we will celebrate the year’s achievements, share insights, and look forward to the exciting opportunities ahead. The event will be thoughtfully catered by the social enterprises Hope Street Café and Goodwill Wine, making this gathering not only a chance to network and learn but also an opportunity to support purpose-driven businesses.

Lawrence Kusz Founder & Managing Director of for a session on AI in Corporate

Lawrence Kusz is the Founder and Managing Director of Chatstat, an award-winning Australian social enterprise using AI to detect and respond to online harm. He began his career in academia, teaching and researching at the University of Queensland, before founding Chatstat in response to the rise of online risks affecting young people. His work focuses on ethical AI design, digital safety, and the intersection of human behaviour and emerging technology. Lawrence regularly speaks on the societal impacts of AI and has been recognised nationally for his contributions to innovation and social impact.

Nora Fraser, Founder & CEO of , for a fireside chat on The MPN’s future plans and insights into upcoming programmes.

Nora Fraser (She/Her) is an inspiring Global People & Culture Leader and visionary founder of The Multicultural Professional Network. With extensive experience across both private and public sectors, Nora has implemented key diversity and inclusion programmes for global organisations in Australia, Europe, and the UK. Her leadership success is rooted in her ability to connect, influence, and inspire, driven by a compelling vision and the courage to challenge the status quo.

Beyond her work with The MPN, Nora actively supports diversity and inclusion-focused organisations and serves as a mentor to emerging professionals in the field. As a passionate advocate for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, she is committed to helping organisations build more inclusive and equitable cultures.

During this session, we will dive into ImpactSphere, The Multicultural Professional Network’s (MPN’s) platform for measuring public good, and discuss how we plan to advance inclusive leadership and drive equitable change through diversity and collaboration.
