End of Summer Celebration 2024

Join us for the annual End of Summer Celebration on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 1200 Spaulding St. Durham, NC. This event is a time to reflect on the work we have done together, honors students' and farmworkers' work, and express gratitude to all who have supported SAF.

This year's theme, "SAF's Garden", will have each element symbolize a vital part of our community:

• Flowers will represent our students and alumni
• Vegetables, fruits, and crops will represent farmworkers
• Honeybees will represent our donors and volunteers
• Butterflies will represent our staff and board members

Enjoy an afternoon of festivities, including:

• Hands-on-experience to contribute to SAF’s Garden Mural
• Special performance of this year’s theater skit, “Noche de Familia”
• Catch up or make new connections with fellow SAF supporters
• Recognition of students, farmworkers, and SAF supporters
