Join us for an afternoon of powerful speeches, music, and poetry by those most harmed by state inaction on the climate crisis.
Despite voicing concerns about the climate crisis, the Connecticut government continues to expand the use of fossil fuels. Fossil fuel emissions damage the environment and directly harm Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and low-income folks. In this event, members of those communities will share their experiences and perspectives on the necessary response to climate disruption.
Please join us in sending a clear message to state leaders: a serious, urgent plan for getting off fossil fuels is long overdue!

“I used to say, when I was talking about climate change, that climate change is serious, certain, and soon. But this is no longer accurate. Now it is very serious, very certain, and now.” - Linda O.
