Start & End Dates: Thursday evening, 25 Sep – Monday afternoon, 29 Sep

Meeting Location & time: Meet your guide directly outside Genova Train Station or the Accommodation for this trip at 6:00 PM on Thursday.

Finishing Location: Genova Train Station around 12:00 PM on Monday.

Points of note:

1. For the first night we will be staying in Genova.
2. Accommodation details will be shared with confirmed participants directly closer to the trip date.
3. Please let us know in the form that will be shared closer to the event date so we can help coordinate your arrival & departures.
4. Let us know if you need to leave earlier or later—we’ll do our best to accommodate your plans.
5. Please aim to book your return flights from Genova from only after 1:30 pm preferably, if booking for an earlier time, please make us aware so that we can make accordingly make the required arrangements.
   

• Day 1 (Friday): ~9 km – Welcome walk through Riomaggiore and Manarola with sunset aperitivo
• Day 2 (Saturday): ~12–14 km – Scenic coastal hike from Corniglia to Vernazza and Monterosso
• Day 3 (Sunday): <5 km – Slow morning exploring Monterosso or optional beach time & local wine tasting

Difficulty: Easy to Intermediate – Relaxed pace with some uphill paths and stairs. Good walking shoes and basic fitness recommended. No rush, plenty of breaks, and lots of time for photos!

• Community guide for the entire trip (Guide speaks English, Italian & a bit of German). Note: English is the main language spoken on this trip.

How to get here:

• Flying: Genova is the closest airport with connections to most European cities. Reach out directly if you want a flights inclusive offer for this / any other multi-days trips.
• Train: Genoa Train station is tha main train station with connection to major Italian cities.

• Pack layers and comfortable walking shoes—weather can change quickly along the coast.
• This is a relaxed, social trip focused on enjoying nature, food, and the local vibe—perfect for disconnecting and recharging.

• Thursday – Arrival & Welcome 🕕 Evening meet-up in Genoa Arrive and settle into your accommodation. We’ll meet up in the evening for a casual welcome drink and introductions—get to know your guide and fellow travelers before the adventure begins!
• Friday – Coastline Magic Begins 🏘️ Villages & Views: Riomaggiore, Manarola & Corniglia We start with a bang! Explore the charming alleyways of Riomaggiore, hike along scenic paths to Manarola, and continue to the clifftop village of Corniglia. Expect sea views, colorful houses, and delicious local snacks. 👣 ~8–10 km hike | Moderate difficulty 🍽️ Optional group dinner in Corniglia
• Saturday – Trail to Monterosso 🌿 The classic Cinque Terre hike: Corniglia → Vernazza → Monterosso Today’s the most active day, as we tackle one of Italy’s most iconic coastal trails. We’ll stop for gelato in Vernazza, take in panoramic views, and end the day with some beach time in Monterosso. 👣 ~12–14 km hike | Moderate–challenging sections 🍷 Aperitivo by the sea in the evening
• Sunday – Slow Day & Local Flavors 🌅 Relax, recharge, and enjoy After two full days of hiking, today is all about soaking in the vibe. Sleep in, wander through local markets, join an optional wine tasting or cooking class, or simply chill on the beach. 🛶 Optional boat ride available (weather permitting) 🎉 Group dinner & night out – We’ll celebrate the trip together with a fun and relaxed evening in town.
• Monday – Goodbyes & Departure ☕ Morning stroll + coffee A slow goodbye in Monterosso or La Spezia before heading back. Optional early morning dip or a quick espresso with a view.
