Celebrate the holiday season at Maytag Park during the Enchanted Nights Holiday Lights event on Saturday, December 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. The park will be closed to vehicle traffic as guests stroll or ride through dazzling light displays and festive sights.Enjoy horse-drawn sleigh and carriage rides, a hayride, and live entertainment from Newton High School band and choir. A live reindeer displays and vendors serving popcorn and treats will add to the holiday atmosphere. John Lee Photography will be onsite offering free downloadable photos or professional prints for purchase.
Walking through the park is free for all guests. Pre-sale tickets will be required for the horse-drawn sleigh, carriage rides and the hayride. The Greater Newton Area Chamber of Commerce is selling tickets for the following:
• Two-person horse-drawn sleigh ride – $50
• 20-person horse-drawn carriage ride – $10 per person
• 20-person hayride – $5 per person
