FULL-DAY ENAMELLING WORKSHOP
Saturday 4 October 9.45 am – 4.00 pm
£110.00 including refreshments, lunch, all materials, use of equipment on the day, tutoring & certificate of completion.
This full-day group workshop with our guest artist and enamellist, Kate Janssens, is suitable for all skill levels.
Create at least one pair of beautiful enamelled earrings, a pendant or scene.
You will learn how to cut your shapes in copper and then enamel them using various techniques with a focus on crackle finish, enamel painting, adding beads or glass rods.
Crackle enamel is a special effect created by using a special crackle enamel layered between two other colours. The different expansion rates of the enamels cause them to crack and colours to merge, resulting in a unique and unpredictable aesthetic with a textured look.
You will learn how to finish your work, adding ear wires and bails to to earrings and pendants.
This FULL DAY ENAMELLING WORKSHOP will be held in the peaceful setting of our Blended Monkey studios on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border.
Numbers are limited to ensure you get plenty of 1-2-1 tuition.
This textile art experience is suitable for 16+.
About a week before your workshop date, we'll e-mail you again with more details about parking etc.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and also a lovely lunch - tailored to meet all dietary requirements.
All students will be provided with a certificate of completion.

The full-day workshop includes:
