Join facilitator and Enabling Arts owner Franz Seachel to dive deeper into your writing practice with purpose. *spots are limited to 12 participants *
Calling all writing enthusiasts! Be a part of a passionate writing community and make time to dive into your practice. All levels of writing experience and all writing styles are welcome.
We will gather together to write based on prompts have time to discuss our writing process with other dedicated writers and share our work for feedback.
Please be respectful of each other we're creating a hate & judgment-free zone. Please bring your own notebook and writing instruments. The price includes 1 cup of tea or coffee (additional drinks and snacks available for purchase).
About the facilitator:
Franz Seachel is a South-Asian settler residing on the unceded and traditional Coast-Salish lands of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and šxʷməθkʷəy̓əmaɁɬ təməxʷ (Musqueam) nations. She is a multidisciplinary artist (spoken word) poet organizer workshop facilitator and space holder. Franz has a B.A. in Creative Writing from Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Her work has been featured at the Surrey Art Gallery Word Vancouver Voices of Today in Toronto the Vancouver Poetry Slam Richmond World Festival Ode to Surrey and Surrey Muses amongst other stages and pages. Franz is a creator of space. She believes in the connection of art. She believes art makes living bearable and does her best to put more colour into the world. She means this both in the sense of brightening up the mundane with creation as well as in her mission to uplift the truths of marginalized bodies.
