EN-PULSES DE PRÉSENCE est un cycle de trois weekends pour plonger dans la recherche scénique et rythmique en Circlesongs & Co-Impro, guidés par Giulia Ledda en synergie avec 3 perles de special guests! Une magnifique brochette d’ingrédients de pratique théâtrale, vocale, performative et pédagogique, dans une perspective synesthétique (tous sens dehors!) du ressenti et de l’intuition musicale, du ressenti et de la vibration de la présence …à travers la joie du rythme!
LE POURQUOI ET COMMENT :
En tant qu’expérimentatrice passionnée d’énergie, présence scénique et musicale et de tout ce qui est élan organique soutenu par le rythme, un profond désir créatif m'a méné à construire ce parcours qui est le cycle de stages EN PULSES DE PRÉSENCE.
L’objectif du cycle est de créer un cadre assez complet pour entraîner “ l’être habité.e.s “ à partir des trois portes d’accès, les trois sommets du triangle de la présence scénique:

- le corps (module appelé “corps”),
- l’émotion (module appelé “imaginaires - paysages”),
- la parole (module appelé “discours”)

Tout le long du parcours, une large palette d’outils et couleurs rythmiques sera transmise aux participant.e.s pour leur offrir des pistes d’exploration de leur Jackson Pollock en Circlesongs: mouvement expressif instinctif tout en cognition et maîtrise.
Avec le souhait profond d’arriver, avec la pratique, à savoir surfer entre ces trois points d’accès avec le plus grand Plaisir!

Pour ce premier module, j'ai l'immense joie d'être accompagnée par Baptiste Vaes, compagnon de voyage dans le collectif Labophonique, avec qui je partage en plus du langage en Circlesongs et Co-impro, une infinité d'objectifs de travail et de pistes vers le plaisir musical, en synthèse: un parfait smoothie multivitaminique de bienviellance et rigueur!

Ce premier module est entièrement dédié au Corps dans sa dimension mécanique:

- Conscientisation/mapping de ses propres points d’appui
- Indépendance (pieds, clapping, voix) et relâchement du corps
- Pratiques rythmiques provenantes de plusieurs cultures musicales: Balkans, Afrique (Sud, Ouest, Nord), Brésil
- Mouvement scénique, mécanique et rythme du geste
- Éléments de danses traditionnelles de la méditerranée
- Polyrythmies

Le parcours vise à donner accès à une palette d'outils pour créer rythmiquement et musicalement en Circlesongs à partir de sa corporalité naturelle et développer son discours musical en gardant la meilleur connexion possible à son corps, littéralement...sans perdre pied!!

Pour un aperçu de nos respectives expériences et formations:

GIULIA LEDDA Artiste issue d'une famille étroitement liée au patrimoine musical et poétique sarde et formée dans des directions multiples: danse; théâtre, chant et musique; photographie et sciences anthropologiques. Actrice professionnelle depuis 2007 en Italie et à l'étranger, elle enrichit sa pratique performative et pédagogique par des nombreaux projets internationaux de théâtre site specific. Ses recherches sont toujours en tension entre l'esthétique des arts de la scène et la contamination entre les arts et les sciences sociales (anthropologie, sociologie). Elle découvre la pratique de la Circlesongs en 2010 grâce au Roy Hart Theatre et l’utilise dépuis comme outil d’exploration de l’expressivité vocale. Master en Théâtre de Communauté à l'Université La Sapienza de Rome, 2013. Active à Bruxelles depuis 2017 en tant que metteur en scène, chanteuse, musicienne de scène, performeuse. Élève B3 en Rythmes et Rythmiques (CRB). En 2022, cofondatrice du collectif d’improvisation vocale Labophonique. En 2023, créatrice de l'espace de pratique de Circlesongs All You Need is Flow au Conservatoire de Bruxelles. Diplômée en Techniques traditionnelles de guérisons par le Son et la Voix avec P.M.Cook (Open Ear Center).
BAPTISTE VAES Musicien, chanteur, formateur et pédagogue dans les domaines du rythme et de l’expression vocale (Conservatoire de Théâtre de Mons), sa pratique se situe au carrefour de la musique, du théâtre et de la danse, à la recherche de la musicalité du corps et de la voix. Dépuis 1998, il se dédie essentiellement à la transmission et l’interprétation du chant traditionnel au sein de formations qu’il initie (chœur d’homme, groupe d’enfants et adolescents, ensembles mixtes) avant de se tourner vers des projets plus intimes (duo, trio, quatuor) mêlant chant du monde et compositions personnelles.
L’improvisation, découverte avec Garrett List au Conservatoire de Liège et la polyrythmie, au cœur de la technique TaKeTiNa à laquelle il est formée, sont deux pratiques distinctes et complémentaires qui nourrissent son approche de la musique et de l’humain. Il initie le Big Bang Choir, chœur d’improvisation vocale, en 2014, développe plus largement sa pratique du Circle Singing dans la mouvance de Bobby McFerrin depuis 2015 et fait actuellement partie du collectif de Circlesong et impro vocale Labophonique.

EN-PULSES DE PRÉSENCE is a cycle of three weekends of scenic and rhythmic research in Circlesongs & Co-Impro, guided by Giulia Ledda in synergy with 3 pearls of special guests! A magnificent palette of ingredients for theatrical, vocal, performative and educational practice, from a synesthetic perspective (all the senses awake!) of musical feeling and intuition, vibratory sensation and presence... through the joy of rhythm!
WHY AND HOW :
As an experimenter with a passion for energy, stage and musical presence and all that is organic momentum supported by rhythm, a deep creative desire led me to build this path that is the IN PULSES OF PRESENCE course cycle.
The aim of the cycle is to create a fairly complete framework for training the ‘inhabited being’ based on the three gateways, the three vertices of the triangle of stage presence:

- the body (‘body’ module)
- emotion (‘imaginary landscapes’ module),
- the spoken word (‘speech’ module)

Throughout the course, participants will be given a wide range of rhythmic tools and colours to explore their Jackson Pollock in Circlesongs: instinctive expressive movement with cognition and control.
We hope that, with practice, you will be able to navigate between these three access points with great pleasure!

For this first module, I have the immense joy of being accompanied by Baptiste Vaes, fellow traveller in the Labophonique collective, with whom I share not only the language of Circlesongs and Co-impro, but also an infinite number of working objectives and paths towards musical pleasure, in short: a perfect multivitamin smoothie of benevolence and rigour!

This first module is entirely dedicated to the Body in its mechanical dimension:

- Awareness/mapping of your own support points
- Independence (feet, clapping, voice) and relaxation of the body
- Rhythmic practices from several musical cultures: Balkans, Africa (South, West, North), Brazil
- Stage movement, mechanics and rhythm of gesture
- Elements of traditional Mediterranean dance
- Polyrhythms

The aim of the course is to provide access to a range of tools for creating rhythmically and musically in Circlesongs using your natural physicality and developing your musical discourse while maintaining the best possible connection to your body, literally... without losing your footing!

For an overview of our respective experiences and training:

GIULIA LEDDA Born into a family closely linked to Sardinia's musical and poetic heritage, artist with a wide range of training: dance; theatre, singing and music; photography and anthropological sciences. A professional actor since 2007 in Italy and abroad, she enriches her performance and teaching practice with numerous international site specific theatre projects. Her research is always in tension between the aesthetics of the performing arts and the contamination between the arts and the social sciences (anthropology, sociology). She discovered Circlesongs in 2010 through the Roy Hart Theatre and has since used it as a tool to explore vocal expressivity. Master's degree in Community Theatre at La Sapienza University in Rome, 2013. Active in Brussels since 2017 as a director, singer, stage musician and performer. B3 student in Rhythms and Rhythmics (CRB). In 2022, co-founder of the vocal improvisation collective Labophonique. In 2023, creator of the Circlesongs practice space All You Need is Flow at the Brussels Conservatoire. Graduated in Traditional Healing Techniques through Sound and Voice with P.M.Cook (Open Ear Center).
BAPTISTE VAES Musician, singer, trainer and teacher in the fields of rhythm and vocal expression (Conservatoire de Théâtre de Mons), his practice lies at the crossroads of music, theatre and dance, in search of the musicality of the body and the voice. Since 1998, he has devoted himself mainly to the transmission and interpretation of traditional song within groups that he initiated (male choir, children's and teenagers' group, mixed ensembles) before turning to more intimate projects (duo, trio, quartet) combining world song and personal compositions.
Improvisation, discovered with Garrett List at the Liège Conservatoire, and polyrhythm, at the heart of the TaKeTiNa technique in which he is trained, are two distinct and complementary practices that nourish his approach to music and the human being. He founded the Big Bang Choir, a vocal improvisation choir, in 2014, and has been developing his Circle Singing practice in the Bobby McFerrin tradition since 2015. He is currently a member of the Circlesong and vocal improvisation collective Labophonique.
