About this Event
Using freshly gathered blooms and botanical patterns as inspiration, you'll explore approachable painting techniques while incorporating moments of mindfulness that encourage a deeper connection with the natural world. Suitable for all experience levels, this relaxed workshop offers personalized instruction in a welcoming and supportive environment.
All materials are provided.
Please note: This is an outdoor class that requries about a 10-minute walk with some steep slopes to get to the location. In the case of poor weather, the class will be moved indoors. Please arrive promptly for 1 PM. We will gather in the Lobby before heading to the outdoor workshop spot.

About Aggie Armstrong
Aggie Armstrong is a Filipino-Canadian artist living and working in Ontario. Working primarily in painting while incorporating hand embroidery and textile elements, she creates layered work inspired by everyday experiences, personal history, and the ways we make sense of the world around us.
Her work has been exhibited across Canada, the United States, and France, and she has exhibited at The Artist Project in Toronto since 2022. In 2023, she was commissioned to create the official poster for the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, and in 2022 she was an artist-in-residence at Château Orquevaux in France. Her work has also been featured in British Vogue, Art Seen Magazine, CTV News, CP24 Breakfast, the Create!, and Colour Me Happy podcasts.
Alongside her studio practice, Aggie teaches watercolour workshops throughout the GTA and Southwestern Ontario, creating welcoming, approachable experiences that help people build confidence and discover the joy of painting and creativity.
