The EMT Prep Course introduces essential concepts that students will encounter throughout their EMT education. Through engaging instruction, interactive exercises, and introductory patient scenarios, participants will build a stronger understanding of medical concepts while developing practical strategies for academic success.

Foundations of Anatomy and Physiology

Explore essential body systems and their functions, including the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, and understand how these concepts relate to emergency medical care.

Medical Terminology

Become familiar with commonly used medical terms and language to improve your understanding of EMT coursework and healthcare communication.

Introduction to Patient Assessment

EMT Documentation Essentials

This course is designed for:

No prior EMT training is required.

This is a one-day, in-person educational course featuring instructor-led discussions, interactive learning activities, and introductory patient cases.

Course Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

The schedule includes a 45-minute lunch break and two short breaks throughout the day.

Course Fee: $175

The EMT Prep Course will be held in person at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
