Empowerment Workshop: Self-Defense

Self Defense for Women and Femme- join us for an empowering morning promoting physical safety, mental resilience, and overall confidence! Elevated Health & Community is building healthier, happier communities where individuals thrive by elevating health and building community, one event at a time!

Single Mom Strong is excited to partner with Elevated Health and Community and Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates (SABA) to offer a self-defense class for women and femme. All women are welcome to join us on September 21, 2024 from 9:30am - 12:00pm at Woodlake Park. The event will open with a Mindfulness Discussion by Former FBI Special Agent Tiffany Martin. Then, the owner and lead instructor of King Krav Maga will arm participants (ages 10+) with practical self-defense skills and knowledge that builds confidence and enhances personal safety. Younger children are welcome in the onsite childcare at EmpowerME, the licensed preschool/childcare location in the clubhouse adjacent to Woodlake Park. Plus, you can feel comfortable riding your bike to the event, because SABA is hosting a free bicycle valet! Free water and snacks will be available, and a food truck will be onsite for additional food options.

THE FINE PRINT: Single Mom Strong hosts EmpowerME Preschool & Childcare, a licensed childcare provider with classroom space on-site. Rest assured that you can enjoy the presentation, while your child (Ages 2 and potty training-12) enjoys a fun time with other kids! PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for childcare, as space is limited. Find SABA's bicycle valet under the awning at the front of 500 Arden Way, in the fenced area.
