Empowerment Self Defense for Female-Identified and Non-Binary Folx

Welcome to Empowerment Self Defense for Female-Identified and Non-Binary Folx! Join Empowerment Self Defense Instructor Dez Shallenberg at Lux Strength in Denver for an interactive and engaging event. This 3-hour comprehensive workshop will teach the foundations of self defense including awareness and intuition, boundary setting, leaving situations safely, and ways to physically defend ourselves using the weapons we are born with, including our voice. Come dressed for comfort. We will be practicing movement, full force strikes against face to face confrontations, rear grabs, and "soft" skills to defend against lower level threats.
