Empowering Yolo County: Free Laptops for Older Adults

In collaboration with AT&T, Human-I-T is providing 200 free laptops to the Yolo County community.
Each Windows laptop includes Microsoft Office, a one-year warranty, and one year of free technical support.
Local organizations will be on-site offering helpful resources, including educational opportunities, information about affordable internet options, and more. The event will begin with special guest speaking remarks, followed by device distribution for registered participants. Once devices have been distributed, attendees are invited to enjoy snacks and engaging activities provided on-site.
Important: All recipients must pre-register to be eligible to receive a device. Devices are available for individuals age 60 and older within participating organizations and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Limited street parking is available on West Capitol Ave.
Visitors may use the City Hall and Community Center parking lots.
Community Center Parking Directions:
Turn onto Merkley Ave and enter the parking lot at the Arthur F. Turner Yolo County Library. Continue through to reach the Community Center lot on the right.
Building Entry:
The West Capitol/Merkley entrance will be locked — please enter from the south side of the building near the Community Center parking lot.
