The Empowering Women of Color Open Mic is back at La Peña for this 2024 Spring Season! Join us for an enchanting evening filled with live music, powerful poetry, captivating spoken word, community vibes, and much more.

This Open Mic event serves as a sacred space to celebrate the diverse voices of women of color, highlighting the beauty of our cultural diversity. We warmly welcome everyone who experiences life through the lens of women—body, spirit, identity, past, present, future, and fluid.

Every performance slot is 5 minutes long. Sign-ups are in advance and online only. Priority will be given to performers aligned with the values and mission of this open mic. Deadline: Sunday, February 25th, 2024.
