Stevens Point Public Schools, in collaboration with the Stevens Point Police Department, invites families and community members to join us for the second session in this year’s In the Digital Age series. The event will be held on Wednesday, October 15, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the SPASH Library. This session will focus on social media use and bullying, highlighting data and strategies from our junior and senior high school students. The evening is free, open to the public, and designed to help trusted adults feel more informed and prepared.
Navigating the Digital Playground will highlight what can be done, both at home and at school to support safe online behavior. Topics will cover current school initiatives, such as streamlining the reporting process for issues and maintaining cell phone policies to ensure productive learning spaces.
The evening will conclude with a Q&A session, offering a chance for families to ask questions and gain insight into how our schools and community are working together to keep children safe.
