Empowering Gifted Minds Mini Conference
About this Event
Join us for the Empowering Gifted Minds Mini Conference, a dynamic, family-centered event designed to help parents and caregivers better understand gifted education and the opportunities available to their children.
Hosted by Richard Lewis Brown Gifted & Talented Academy, in collaboration with Duval County Public Schools and The Florida Association for the Gifted, features engaging workshops such as Understanding Your Gifted Child, Wing Chun and the Gifted Mind, Living L.E.A.N. (Eating Habits & Health), and Marvelous Minds. Participants will gain valuable insight into gifted program eligibility, life skills, and strategies to support gifted students and their families both in and beyond the classroom.
Families will experience interactive breakout sessions, connect with educators and community resources, and gain practical tools to advocate for and support their child’s success.
Whether your child is already identified as gifted or you’re exploring the possibility, this event will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to take the next step
