About this Event
Join us for "Empowering Female Scholarship: Cultivating Islamic Education and Community Impact," an event celebrating the remarkable contributions of two esteemed female scholars dedicated to advancing Islamic education and uplifting communities in the UK.
Ustadha Nosheen Gul began her academic journey in Applied Chemistry and Material Engineering before her passion for Islamic knowledge led her to Damascus, Syria. There, she studied Arabic and traditional sacred sciences under renowned scholars. On her return to the UK, Ustadha Nosheen has been an influential educator, sharing her knowledge through teaching and community work. Recognized as the "Most Impactful Alimah" by the British Beacon Mosque Awards in 2020, she continues to inspire through her role at Manchester’s Guidance Hub.
Ustadha Aniqa Rashid founded the Taqwa Institute in Oldham, UK, which began humbly in her mother’s attic with a small group of students. Over 15 years, her dedication has transformed the institute, nurturing numerous Hufaadh (Quran memorizers) and Aalimahs (female Islamic scholars). Ustadha Aniqa’s impactful work has brought positive change to the Oldham community, earning her recognition from local council members and the "Most Impactful Alimah" title at the British Beacon Mosque Awards in 2023.
This event is a unique opportunity to learn from two inspiring leaders who exemplify the power of female scholarship in Islam and the vital role of women in shaping communities. Don’t miss the chance to be inspired and engage with these visionary educators.
