Empowering Conversations around Risk | A Community Wellbeing Approach
About this Event
Do you work with people with a range of health concerns? Ever feel ill equipped to respond to people who have increased risks? Especially to themselves?
Our new Empowering Conversations around Risk | A Community Wellbeing Approach training is designed for people working in the community sector who want to improve their confidence to support and empower people with mental health and safety concerns.
We bring a trauma informed and strengths-based programme which emphasises the importance of balancing a duty of care with a persons need to make choices in pursuit of living a fulfilled life.
We share practical tools linked to the latest government guidance which maximise choice and control and emphasise personal strengths and capabilities.
You don’t need to be a registered practitioner to benefit from and use these tools - they can be considered in every situation and can turn anxiety and fear into an empowered conversation which develops feelings of increased hope and safety.
This is a 2-part training course, with Part 1 taking place on 29/09/26 and Part 2 on 06/10/26.
Both sessions are included in the price, and attendees must attend both parts.
