Empowering Change through Radical Care

In November the Mills Institute will host its inaugural conference on the Oakland campus. Empowering Change through Radical Care will bring together Bay Area-based scholars, activists, and care-work professionals to facilitate learning and to build new collaborations and connections.

The Mills Institute was developed when Mills College merged with Northeastern University in 2022 in order to preserve and advance Mills' commitment to racial and gender justice.

Consistent with our speakers' work and the conference theme, we offer free admission to those who cannot afford to pay the registration fee. Please use this registration option fairly.
