Hosted by Women Leading Women Nonprofit Organization, the summit brings together trailblazers, change-makers, and supporters who are passionate about creating opportunities for women to thrive.

This empowering experience focuses on personal growth, leadership development, and access to resources, while raising funds to provide scholarships for women and girls pursuing education. Meet Keynote Speaker - Jessica McClellan

Inspirational Speaker and Author Known as "Jessica Lynn Speaks Life"

Jessica Lynn McCallop-McClellan is a dynamic inspirational speaker and Christian minister, passionately known as "Jessica Lynn Speaks Life." With the mantra “I Live to Give,” Jessica has captivated audiences as a keynote speaker in corporate settings, women’s events, and inspirational movements. Jessica is a national best-selling author and contributing author in the anthology * Agents of Social Change*. The book is available for purchase on the Giving Hope & Help website:

Jessica is the Founder and President of Giving Hope & Help Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2013. Through her work, she empowers individuals to find their voice and use it for change, advocating for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors, menstrual equity, education, cancer support, humanitarian causes, and social justice. She is the founder and administrator of the Black, Brown, and White UNITE for CHANGE Facebook Group. With eight years of experience as the host of "Jessica Lynn Speaks Life" on KUAW Radio, Kansas City’s Global Community Radio Internet Show, Jessica has received numerous awards and recognition for her philanthropic work, humanitarianism, and leadership.

Her impactful efforts have been featured in media, podcasts, magazines, and television, both locally and globally. A proud 1st generation graduate of Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA, Jessica earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing. She also holds a Master of Science in Business Management from Baker University in Baldwin City, KS. With over twenty-nine years of sales and management experience, including ten years in pharmaceutical and medical sales, Jessica is a seasoned Independent Corporate Trainer/Facilitator, volunteer, and trailblazer. She is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in Scriptural Psychology.

Jessica lives in Kansas City, Missouri with her husband, Kevin of 29 years as of July 19, 2026. Together, they serve at their church on the altar team and are marriage coaches. She cherishes spending time with her family, including her two adult children and grandchildren. Her faith is her anchor, inspired by her favorite Bible scriptures: Proverbs 3:5-6, Philippians 4:13, and Jeremiah 29:11. Meet Keynote Speaker - Dr. Doris Thompson

With over two decades of experience as an elite educator, Dr. Doris Thompson is paving the way as a knowledgeable and competent commercial real estate professional at the Vibe Brokerage based in both Dallas and Houston Texas.

Dr. Doris aims to apply her positive energy and fierce determination to help others throughout Houston and Galveston, Texas, make the most of their commercial real estate buying, selling, and leasing opportunities, specializing in retail, office, and land development.Dr. Doris is the CEO of People Quest, LLC. She is a former director of secondary schools, math specialist, and math teacher. With more than 15 years of experience in education and leadership, Doris is a U.S. Fulbright scholar to Japan and a Mississippi Teacher Fellowship Program Scholar. Doris has expertise in the areas of effective leadership, student achievement, diversity and inclusion, systematic reform, and youth & young adult ministry.
She holds a B.S. in Math Education from Rust College (valedictorian), a M.Ed. degree in K-12 Educational Leadership from Ole Miss, and an Ed.D. degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Eastern Kentucky University. Doris was the student commencement ceremony speaker at her doctoral hooding graduation. Doris also holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Jacksonville Theological Seminary located in Jacksonville, FL.

She is a 2016 graduate of the Harvard’s Women in Leadership Program and a 2013 recipient of the American Association of School Administrators Educational Administration Scholarship. Doris is a Certified Belief Therapist and a Certified Youth Behavior Therapist. Doris is a published author, consultant, motivational speaker, and ordained minister. Doris is an American Heart Association Licensed Instructor and Licensed Training Provider.
Doris is highly inspired by her former husband, mentor, best friend, business partner, & global leader, the late Dr. Sherwood Thompson.

Meet Our Panelists

With over 10 years of professional sports experience, Angel McGee has built a diverse background in community outreach, project management, communications, civic & social impact, and strategic partnerships including nonprofit organizations. Her passion for advocating and promoting representation, especially for Black & brown youth, remains rooted in the Kansas City community through her roles in serving on various community and civic boards including WIN for KC, Youth Guidance, PREP-KC, Big Brothers Big Sisters JEDI Board, Parade of Hearts and as Chair of the Community Advisory Committee for the Tyrann Mathieu Foundation. She currently serves as the People & Community Engagement Lead at ProAthlete managing the company’s employee experience, DE&I, and community engagement efforts.

Meet Panelist - Candice McField

Candice McField is the founder of Candice McField Fitness, the parent company for C-Suite Fit and As for Me and My Body. She also founded the non-profit, fightGLOBESITY, is an ACE Certified Health Coach, and served nine years on the Kansas Governor’s Council on Wellness. The final three of her nine years of service she served as the Council Chair.

Candice received her Bachelor of Science in Economics from Loyola Marymount University, and an Executive MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management. A natural competitor at a young age, Candice excelled in basketball and softball but later fell in love with figure competing. Candice’s accomplishments include a feature in Oxygen magazines’, Future of Fitness section, earning her professional card, and securing the 2010 World Natural Bodybuilding Federation “Ms. Figure Universe” title upon her first-place finish in Barbados.

Currently, Candice resides in Kansas City where she works with clients internationally and is the host of “Conversations with Candice” on the Fox 4 Kansas City Morning Show.

Casondra Foster is a clinically licensed therapist who is also the owner of Ascend Counseling & Wellness. With over a decade of experience in community mental health, Casondra is a strong advocate for community advocacy, relationship building and the importance of trauma-informed care. She has an extensive background as a leader and demonstrates a person-centered focus in providing care and delivering therapeutic services. Casondra spends her time working within her practice, providing therapy services, volunteering her time, and partnering with other organizations throughout the community to enrich the lives of others.
