We partnered with United Way and ATB Financial to create a 12-session financial literacy course that will help participants take control of their finances, reduce, debt, and save money.
This course combines financial literacy training with a 2:1 matched savings component that provides up to $500.00 in matched savings meaning that for every dollar you save while you are enrolled in this program you will generate an extra three dollars. This means that if you save $250.00 throughout the course you will receive $500.00 in matched savings and end up leaving the program with a total of $750.00!
The course will be held at the Norwood Centre every Wednesday starting July 6th ,2022 till September 21st, 2022, from 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Empower U is open to men, women, and couples of diverse backgrounds experiencing low income and will cover topics such as budgeting, consumerism, credit, home ownership, debt repayment, and much more.
