Our in-person Empower Puberty Training gives youth leaders the tools to confidently facilitate fun and uplifting workshops about growing up through games, activities, circle and other relational practices.
Topics in this training:
Day 1: Puberty & menstrual cycles
Day 2: Body image & self-esteem
Day 3: Relationships, boundaries & consent
Day 4: Facilitation practice
For the fourth consecutive year, we are offering a small group of youth leaders the opportunity to enhance their relational and creative skills with young people through our experiential EMPOWER PUBERTY training.
Our training sets youth leaders up to support their groups with meaningful and fun workshops around growing up and answering tricky questions. Our training approach includes: providing concise information on key themes of puberty, building and refining practical facilitation skills for working with groups of children and young people, and practicing those skills with peers in a supportive environment.
AS A YOUTH LEADER YOU ARE CENTER STAGE TO PROVIDE POSITIVE TOOLS ABOUT GROWING UP AND INSPIRE YOUNG PEOPLE IN YOUR COMMUNITY!
Who is this training for?
Youth workers, social workers, youth leaders, teachers, health care professionals, creative club leaders, scout leaders, dance class leaders and everyone else working with youth
