Empower & Illuminate: A PCOS Advocacy Event by PCOS Awareness Association and Milan LaserWelcome to "Empower & Illuminate," an upcoming event hosted by the PCOS Awareness Association in collaboration with Milan Laser. This event aims to raise awareness of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and empower those affected by it. PCOS is a hormonal disorder that affects millions of women worldwide, and it remains one of the most common endocrine disorders among women of reproductive age.
PCOS can manifest in various symptoms, such as irregular periods, excessive hair growth, acne, weight gain, and infertility. Unfortunately, many individuals with PCOS often face challenges in seeking diagnosis and treatment due to a lack of awareness and understanding of the condition.
In conjunction with PCOS CON, "Empower & Illuminate" aims to transform the landscape by offering a foundation for education, support, empowerment, and advocacy. Our forthcoming event will showcase Jaime King, a renowned actress, model, and director, along with public health advocates Pari and Eve (IG: gemma_talks) and Ali Chappell, PhD, MS, RD. This event will also feature several special guests who hold a significant place within the PCOS Community.
