Employer focus group: solutions to recruitment & retention challenges

Recruitment and retention pressures are intensifying across York and North Yorkshire, from skills shortages and health-related absence to caring responsibilities and an ageing workforce.

York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority, working with AMION Consulting, is inviting employers to take part in a focused, practical discussion about what really works when it comes to:

• keeping people in work;
• bringing people back into work; and
• overcoming day-to-day workforce challenges.

This is not a consultation exercise. Employers taking part will directly help co-design realistic, deliverable solutions that will inform future skills, employment and business support programmes in the region.

Who should attend?

We welcome employers of any size, sector, or geograpy(urban, rural and coastal) across York and North Yorkshire.
