Empire Records follows the lives of the employees of Empire Records on one incredible day. Packed to the brim full of youthful hi jinx, DIY aesthetics, bangin’ tunes and mostly… sticking it to the man.
Damn the man… save the Empire.
As always at Dolly’s Film Club you are encouraged to wear fancy dress, or theme your outfit appropriately, and there will be a little extra catnip, if you come along a little early we will be enjoying some tunes and making some rad DIY badges.
Dolly’s Film Club celebrates the camp, kitsch, queer and unapologetically enjoyable side of cinema, but most of all Dolly’s Film Club is to celebrate the JOY of being an audience.
