Empire Eats Explorer Post 1792 FIRST NIGHTER (Age 14-20 Culinary Arts)

NC residents age 14 - 20 are invited to EXPLORE Culinary Arts careers with downtown Raleigh's seasoned restaurant group Empire Eats as a member of the co-ed Empire Eats Explorer Post 1792! Hands-on monthly activities/classes will cover everything from culinary survival skills and cooking methods to nutrition restaurant operation and baking with chefs and team members from Empire's diverse group of restaurants. Complete your Exploring community project hours by volunteering at the Cuegrass Festival Empire Eats annual BBQ and bluegrass fundraiser! The 6:00PM FIRST NIGHTER on 2/21/23 allows you to officially register as a BSA Explorer, meet the team of professional mentors and chefs who will train you, meet your fellow participants (Explorers), engage in your first culinary activity, and ask questions. Empire Eats Explorer Post 1792 will meet on the last Tuesday of the month for 1.5 - 2 hours starting on March 28th. In addition to Post 1792 activities, you will be invited to participate in the Occoneechee Council Exploring events including social events, competitions, leadership training, community service, and more! Admission to Post 1792 is limited to the first 30 male and female Explorers with completed BSA registration forms and fees paid at or after the FIRST NIGHTER event! The Annual BSA Explorer Registration and Insurance Fee is $52.25. This can be paid by check, credit card, or cash at the First Nighter event OR within 3 days of submitting the signed Registration Form as space permits. Only 30 youth and young adults can be admitted to this exciting program!

Exploring is a national co-ed work experience program of Boy Scouts of America and Learning for Life providing an interactive program in 12 major career fields via Exploring Clubs (6th-8th Grade) and Exploring Posts(9th Grade to age 20).
