After 18 months of Covid-19 protocols we are finally open to all - no longer vaccine and mask requirements!
Come join us for our 10th year of Empanada Milonga in Berkeley featuring guest live musicians and of course the fabulous Don An, known for his DJ and curating skills at San Jose's Dance Boulevard. Don brings his exquisite knowledge and selection of recorded Argentine tango music, meticulously edited, both traditional and modern.
Last month our own Orquesta Z introduced Emily Bouton on violin to rousing applause, as we played a set of traditional and alternative tangos - chosen to be danceable! This month we are doubly delighted to premiere our newest member of Orquesta Z, Elena Bouton, Emily's older sister and also a beautiful violinist. They are guaranteed to delight us tango dancers and lovers!
As is our tradition, we include tasty refreshments, homemade empanadas by Susan and Juan, and complimentary fine Argentine wines. Come celebrate Argentine tango at the sweetest afternoon milonga in the Bay Area with some of the friendliest and best dancers!

We've lowered our admission to $25, and still offer live music and free Argentine wine and empanadas. But the best part is that for many of the attendees, this is their favorite milonga in the Bay Area, with wonderful, friendly dancers in a beautiful sunny room in the middle of a garden.
