About this Event
The Emotional Wellness group will provide skill-based sessions that introduce techniques of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness.
Within the sessions you may practice skills to help manage feelings of anxiety, anger, depression, and low self-esteem. The Emotional Wellness group will provide you with practical strategies that you can begin implementing into your life immediately!
Strategies will aim to enhance a mindset of positivity and optimism, regulate your behaviors so that you’re experiencing and managing a range of emotions each day, improve your emotional awareness and self-advocacy skills, and assist you in being present and appreciative throughout your day so that you can live your life to the fullest.
Emotional Wellness will teach you preventative mood management strategies as well as interventions to use when you are feeling emotionally flooded. The group will operate on a 12 week cycle and will support you in enhancing your control over your emotions and behaviors.
Please note: group therapy does incur a cost and is covered by most major insurance plans. Self-pay options are also available for those wishing to pay out-of-pocket.
Our team will reach out via phone and/or email to confirm your registration and gather any additional information, such as medical insurance, and payment if applicable.
