Emotion Oracle Workshop - 6 Weeks

Through expressive arts we will be exploring and getting to know our emotions. Emotions are communicators trying to deliver us messages, but many of us have gotten very skilled at ignoring those messages to the point where we have a difficult time hearing them at all. Throughout this course, we will be exploring our emotions and building oracle or character cards for each of them. Think: What is saddness? What does saddness feel like in my body? What kind of urges or behaviours do I notice in saddness? What is saddness usually trying to tell me?

Through awareness of our emotions we get to know them better, and through getting to know our emotions better we can build healthier and kinder relationships to our emotions. We can learn to work with our emotions instead of against them.

You will walk away with your own personalized deck (of sorts) of oracle cards and/or character cards representing your emotions (you would purchase your own blank deck if this is the goal, however, you will be able to create without a deck).
