Welcome to SWEMO Night! Founded by Lizzie Cates and Lyssa Coulter, Emo Night (Taylor's Version) is a full band showcase featuring four of Nashville's up and coming bands playing Taylor Swift's biggest hits in pop-punk (EMO) style! Swemo is the brain child of Lyssa Coulter and Lizzie Cates, two Nashville based independent artists with successful careers in music with their own original shows. Both swifties but emo girls at heart, Lyssa and Lizzie brought the two worlds together. This high-energy full band experience showcases Nashville's rock/pop-punk scene by delivering Taylor Swift's biggest hits in a pop-punk (emo) style. After selling almost 400 tickets their first show, they knew it was time to take this electrifying show on the road! Along with Lizzie and Lyssa they'll be bringing Walk on Mars with special guests and local openers in each city. A night full of Taylor Swift's biggest hits with an emo spin keeps everyone headbanging and singing along!

Imaginative and clever storyteller, Lizzie Cates is a rock artist recently switching from the country scene based out of Nashville originally from the "biggest little city in the world", Reno, Nevada. Her new artist name is R I A N E. At the early age of five years old, she writing her own stories and fairytales. In her later teenage years, Cates began performing all over her home town even opening for touring acts such as Rachel Platten, EchoSmith and American Authors. Since then, she has released several singles and an EP along with playing notable venues such as the Bluebird Cafe, 3rd and Lindsley, Jaguar Stadium and the Reno Aces Stadium. Often compared to pop queen Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne, Lizzie brings her own sound to the country world along with her creative metaphorical lyrics that are relatable to her fans. Her silly and down to earth personality keep her fans wanting more.

Lyssa Coulter is an up-and-coming name in the Country-Rock scene. Coulter has had things on her side since her start in 2016. Only a few months after making her hobby a career, Coulterʼs first release, “By My Side” premiered on iHeartRadioʼs 101.7 The Bull followed by multiple radio appearances/segments by Cumulus and Beasley Media Group stations.
After being named “New Act of the Year” in her home region of New England, Coulter quickly grew to discover that there was much more out there to explore in the music industry and made her move to Nashville in 2019. Following the move, her dedication to the music business and personal artistry pushed her to open for acts such as Big & Rich, Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts, and many more on her 2019 “Maybe Tonight” tour. The tour included Taste of Country Music Festival, Country Jam Colorado and Headwaters Country Jam.
During the 2020 pandemic, Coulter took the time to self-reflect and grow. She chose to refrain from releasing new music for a year and a half and eventually dropped her single “Alone With U” which made its iTunes Chart debut on the U.S. and U.K. charts. “Alone With U” made its music video debut in March of 2021.
In 2022 Coulter released her first country/rock single, “See Me Now” and is embracing the edge moving forward in her music. She continues to travel the country with her band to promote her new country-rock single "CHAOS".
Coulter's most recent project consists of an indie artist funded short film to follow her double single "Playhouse" and "Bed We Made". The film follows the story of a woman who has been trapped in a relationship that she had thought was everything she wanted. "Playhouse: The Short Film" is available now!

Walk On Mars (WOM) is a pop-punk project started by Mary Jo Swank. Terminating gender stereotypes and consistently representing neon green in the coolest way possible, she kicked off WOM's journey on YouTube with about 65,000 views on their powerful cover of My Chemical Romanceʼs “Cancer”. Mary Jo went on to reach over 6.1 million views on her rewrite of "Stacy's Mom", and began WOM's journey on TikTok. HER efforts Have led HER to collaborate with the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra on stage with Grammy award-winning composer, James Blachly, as well as open up for David Michael Frank's Private Party Tour alongside Riot House. Her mission is to write and perform relatable music that can inspire anyone to reach beyond the stars and walk on Mars.
