We'll be having the first of our playtest/social events in February at the Malt Cross in Nottingham! The Malt Cross have agreed to 3 months of bookings to see how this plays out, so join us for what will hopefully become a regular fixture. Location/travel details further below.
We've got this time slot so people can grab some food and/or a drink and have a chat first, and then we can dive into looking at some megagame mechanics. Don't feel you have to eat there, but if you'd like to check out the menu then it's here: https://maltcross.co.uk/sunday-dinner/
For the first meet-up we're taking submissions of any ideas, mini-games or mechanics people would like to try out. Things we're looking for:
* Megagame Scoping - "I have an idea and some notes, how might it become a game?"
* Mechanic Playtest - "who wants to help me see if this Spaceship Factory Management bit of the game works as intended?"
* Mechanic Explanation - "I have this Potion Creation game which works, but how do I communicate it to the players?"
If there's something else you think works here, bring it along and we can check it out, or just come along because you want to help/chat megagames/play something.
We'll probably bring something for The Game's Afoot and the sequel to The Generalissimo is Dead, but we're open to all comers, whether an EMM regular, new person, or someone from another group who'd like to visit.

NCP Nottingham Mount Street and NCP Nottingham St James are both a 5ish minute walk away. Nottingham Station is the cheapest (£5 on a Sunday), but then see above re: walking or tram
