Join Emily Moyers to celebrate her solo art show at the opening reception on January 14, 2023 from 2-4 P at the Little Loomhouse. Her show will feature 18 original works and runs from January 14, 2023 to February 11, 2023. Emily is very excited to show all of her friends and family her artwork! Emily is a Louisville-based artist who draws inspiration from many sources: her travels with family, her faith, and by observing the world around her. Emily's process includes using a sketchbook to plan her paintings using a pencil drawing of her concept, determining which sections will have specific colors, and plotting out her ideas. Creating art is a meditative process for Emily that helps channel her feelings and emotions onto the canvas.
Emily's favorite work in this collection is ‘Moses Parting the Red Sea’ because of the vivid colors and symbolism captured.
She is proud of what she has created for herself, her mom, Sarah, and her dad, Dan. Thank you to The Little Loomhouse for hosting this show for Emily. Enjoy your trip around the gallery to experience Emily's works.
