Alexandra, originally from Colorado, earned her BFA from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance, during which she also spent a semester training at Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in Perth, Australia. At both institutions, she trained heavily in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Composition, and Improvisation.
Alexandra has attended and performed at festivals in Germany, Canada, Israel, UK, Austria, and Taiwan. She has performed works of Loni Landon, Johannes Wieland, Gregory Dolbashian, Shannon Gillen, Lar Lubovitch, Gabrielle Lamb, Yin Yue, Billy Bell and Aszure Barton. Alexandra has worked in collaboration with choreographer Ellis Wood, and designers such as Rochambeau and FormShow for New York Fashion Week. She has presented at NewSteps at Chen Dance Center, The West End Theater, Hudson River Museum, and Gibney Dance. In addition to performance and choreography, Alexandra is currently focusing on creating environmental dance films through her organization Move To Protect, based out of Colorado.
Emily McDaniel graduated from Booker T. Washington Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, Texas before receiving her BFA in dance performance from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance in New York. After graduation, she has continued to train and perform at international festivals and workshops in Austria, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Portugal, and the UK. Emily is a NFAA YoungArts winner in Dance/Choreography. She has worked in collaboration with Ellis Wood and has presented work at West End Theater, Joe’s Pub and Chen Dance Center for NewSteps emerging choreographers’ series in New York City. She has worked on various collaborations with Belgium choreographer, Helder Seabra which led her to perform and assist in Europe and Russia.
Emily has undertaken projects with Brian Brooks Moving Company (US), Kale Companhia de Dança (PT), M.A.D. Company (RU), Marcos Morau (ESP), Helder Seabra (BE/PT), Cally Spooner (UK), Kate Wallich (US), Ellis Wood (US) and Nicole Von Arx (US/CH). In addition, she has also performed works by Adam Barruch (US), Larry Keigwin (US), Lar Lubovitch (US), Ohad Naharin (IL), Stephen Petronio (US) Takehiro Ueyama (US) and Doug Varone (US).
