Emerging Craft Market

Formerly our Spring Market, Handmade Arcade's Emerging Craft Market has more than doubled in size. Shop nearly 70 emerging artists and makers at this juried event celebrating the next generation of creative talent in the Pittsburgh region.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Shopping from 70+ emerging craftspeople, including Handmade Arcade’s 2026 BIPOC Maker Accelerator cohort members
- Food & drink vendors, including from sponsors Ghost Coffee and Wigle Whiskey
- Hands-on making and artistic demonstrations from MCG Youth
- Henna art from Vibhuti Henna Art
- Dance performance from Hill Dance Academy Theatre
- Flash tattoos from Duck Duck Tattoo Studio
- Keepin’ It Hill Community Quilt display created by TaMara Howard of Folks Quilt LLC for the 20th anniversary of the Hill Dance Academy Theatre
EVENT SCHEDULE
Saturday, August 29
9 – 10 AM: Sensory-Friendly Hour
Enjoy a quieter, more relaxed shopping experience designed for visitors who benefit from a sensory-friendly environment. Music will be turned off during this time and no special ticket is required.
10 AM – 6 PM: General Admission Shopping
Explore one-of-a-kind handcrafted goods, enjoy live art demonstrations and performances, and support the next generation of creative entrepreneurs.
Handmade Arcade offers Pay-What-You-Can tickets for our markets to keep these events accessible to shoppers. We have suggested ticket prices of $5, $10, and $20 per ticket depending on what is comfortable for you. Free tickets are also available if paid tickets are a barrier to entry.
Free tickets are possible thanks to support by the taxpayers of Allegheny County through a public grant from the Allegheny Regional Asset District (RAD). RAD works here.
