The WSU Art & Design Advocates present the eighth annual Emerging Artists Showcase, celebrating the work of up-and-coming Wichita State School of Art, Design and Creative Industries student artists representing art education, ceramics, community and social practices, drawing, graphic design, painting, photography, and printmaking.
At the opening reception, $2,500 in cash prizes will be announced by this year’s judge, Devan Shimoyama, whose work is currently on view at the Ulrich Museum of Art. Prizes provided by the generous support of The Cotillion and the WSU Art & Design Advocates.
