This is a family friendly event that will give the community information and resources they can use in the event of an emergency.

• An active shooter workshop
• A fire extinguisher workshop
• City officials
• Music (Live entertainment)
• Giveaways
• Food vendors

The Center of Praise Ministries (COP), Justice Response Team (JRT), is proud to host our 2026 COP Community Emergency Preparedness Fair on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Fair will be held outside at our Legacy Center, 2324 L Street, in Midtown Sacramento.

This family-friendly event is designed to provide the community with knowledge, tools, and resources needed to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies. Through interactive demonstrations, educational booths, preparedness giveaways, and public safety engagement, we aim to equip participants of all ages with disaster preparedness.

The Fair supports our JRT mission to collaborate with governmental, civic, and community-based organizations to build a more resilient city and community.

We’re inviting local businesses, organizations, community leaders, and public safety agencies to partner with us as vendors or sponsors of the COP 2026 Community Emergency Preparedness Fair.
