Emergency Planning Refresher Training

Thank you for attending the Emergency Responder and Act Operational training last year – in total 6 all day sessions took place and the attendance meant that we had nearly 200 Operational Managers benefit. I hope you enjoyed the day and have been able to take forward the training in your workplace.

Now, working with Counter Terror Police, the intention is to provide a half day refresher for everyone who has done this training with us. This will involve an update from our Counter Terror Police officers on upcoming changes to the law through the “Protect Duty” and an overview of recent events and threat in the UK. Following this, we will provide desk top exercises to refresh on the previous learning and understanding of incident assessment and management.

You are invited to join us for a half day in the Avon Room in Staff House for your refresher (please remember to bring along your “Action cards”). Please book your space for either Tuesday 28 March or Wednesday 29 March from 9am – 12pm.

If, for whatever reason you are unable to attend once booked, please cancel your booking to free up the space for another person.

Please arrive 10 mins early to take your place. There will be teas and coffees mid-morning.
