Offered in partnership between UnityPoint Health Des Moines, MercyOne Des Moines, and Des Moines University, this workshop gives the practicing emergency provider current information and hands-on training to improve image acquisition and interpretation of point of care ultrasound. Practicing emergency ultrasound experts will provide presentations on each topic. This will be followed by small group breakout sessions where participants scan live models. Each small group will have an expert facilitator to ensure individualized attention and teaching that fits each participant's needs and skill level.
