“We have TWO large orientations scheduled for Saturday 6/29 from 2-5pm and Wednesday 7/3 from 6-9pm. These are for everyone interested in fostering for us to learn about the program, get instructions of what we need from you, what we provide for you and why we need you. If you are on any form of social media, you know the situation with shelters nation wide is DIRE. Especially in dogs, but we are also high into kittens season, so the need there is also great. So I’m reaching out to all of you in hopes you can join us at one of these two orientations. Just an FYI, this isn’t a “drop in” type thing. It’s from start to finish. It may not go the full three hours, but I have it slotted for that in case we have questions and to take you for a tour if you want. But it IS a lot of information to pass on. 😊 We’re saving lives, so it isn’t something we take lightly at all. Can you join us? The Wake County Animal Center is FULL and needs the communities HELP NOW!
Can you foster a medium or large breed dog right now or within the next week? Can you foster kittens or cats?
If so the Wake County Animal Center is hosting 2 emergency foster orientations.
You must be able to stay the entire time. Fostering is not a financial obligation- the shelter covers all expenses.
Requirements
