ABOUT:
Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED is an 8-hour course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. The course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

DURATION:
Total training time = 8 hours (4 hours online + 4 hours in-class + breaks)

COURSE CONTENT
• The Red Cross

• Airway emergencies
• Breathing and Circulation emergencies
• First aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest
• Wound care
CERTIFICATION:
3-year Red Cross certification in Emergency First Aid, CPR/AED Level C
Red Cross will issue a digital certificate on successful completion
MORE INFO:
Red Cross Emergency First Aid & CPR certification is recognized by WorkSafeBC (as equivalent to Occupational First Aid Level 1)
