Emergence

Emergence, hosted by Alluvion Dance Chicago (ADC), is a summer festival of up and coming choreographers, now presenting in its ninth season with two unique shows on both Friday, June 16th and Saturday, June 17th at 7:30 pm at the Edge Theater. Striving to be a buffer between emerging choreographers and professional companies, ADC presents Emergence. Emergence provides up and coming choreographers an opportunity to emerging dance companies, choreographers and artists to present their work in a fully produced setting, all while complete with a panel of Artistic Directors, educators and Rehearsal Directors throughout the Chicagoland area. 

Friday, June 16th's show is featuring choreography by the company members of Alluvion Dance Chicago: Josephine Castillo, Paige Geissler, Alissa Heroux, Carly Liegel, Anna Rice, Alyssa Simpson, Lauren Smith and Sarah Sterling.

Saturday, June 17th's show is featuring choreography by: Emily Carroccio, Molly Eder, Paige Geissler, Erica Isakower (Chutzpah Dance), Nik LaMaack, Miranda McGovern and Jessi Stegall.

While purchasing a ticket, please note the choreographer's name you are supporting to ensure they get credit for your purchase. Note that each evening has a unique show -- tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase. We appreciate your support and cannot wait to present these fantastic choreographer's works!
