Emerge East 2024

Emerge East returns for its 3rd year on Saturday 7th of September 2024 to Barking Riverside.

This free festival is a celebration of community, creativity and nature, and offers an exciting day out discovering one of East London’s newest neighbourhoods.

What's On?

Experience culinary delights with ‘A Taste of Barking Riverside - The Home Cooks’ where local people become street food vendors for a day, sharing their beloved family recipes or trialling a new yet perfected dish for an eager and appreciative lunchtime crowd.

SaunaMasterUK, in collaboration with Community Sauna Baths, will bring the Wild Riverside Sauna from Hackney and Stratford to one of East London’s most idyllic locations. Be sure to grab a ticket to enjoy the revitalising benefits of deep heat, cold contrast, and soothing steam, all while overlooking the iconic River Thames.

The event will also feature creative workshops for the whole family, an independent Makers Market showcasing local talent and thriving businesses, and a variety of food, drink, performances, walks, talks, wellness workshops, music, and more.

? Barking Riverside Overground service from Gospel Oak - Barking Riverside is a 7-minute train journey from Barking Station which is connected to the District, Hammersmith & City and C2C lines.

Accessibility: Station Square is fully wheelchair accessible. Blue Badge Disabled Parking is available at The Project Office.
