Emerald Garden Community Open House With DPL

Detroiters Sharon and Gary Gray run Emerald Garden, a community garden at the intersection of Haverhill and Cornwall in the MorningSide neighborhood. They will be opening up their space to the community at large for a library-sponsored morning of fun, learning, and interaction. Attendees will be educated about soil, planting, and garden maintenance. Food, refreshments, and kid-friendly activities will be provided.

If you are interested in adopting a raised bed for you and your loved ones to maintain for the 2023 gardening season, please register on Eventbrite. Space is limited to 10, with one raised bed available per household.
