We are excited to have Embury Youth host a tailgate for Memphis Athletic Ministries winter sports league on Saturday, November 23rd. Games & Tailgates will take place at our MAM Grizzlies Center location - 2107 Ball Road, Memphis, TN 38114. We ask volunteers to commit to serving from 11 am - 2 pm.
We kindly request you supply the following:
Rally together a group of 5-10+ enthusiastic volunteers who can help not only with serving food but also with forging meaningful connections with our students and their families.
Food to feed: (whether freshly prepared on-site or pre-made), along with essential supplies such as plates, napkins, and utensils. Please note that our grill is at your disposal. Some ideas - hamburgers / hot dogs, pizza, wings, etc.
We invite your organization to embrace a spirit of creativity and enjoyment that aligns with the essence of a true tailgate celebration! Some additional ideas include creating encouraging signs to uplift our teams or providing a face painting table. While these suggestions are not obligatory, they do add to the festivity. As this is a family-friendly occasion, we extend an open invitation for you to bring along your family members or friends, ensuring a day filled with sportsmanship and camaraderie.
