Embroidered Stories

All are welcome to tell their story and bring an item of clothing to embroider text, thoughts, and images upon. Embroidered Stories is akin to a sewing bee or stitching circle where we build community by sharing the stories of important women/female figures in our lives.

Participants should look upon this as an opportunity to connect with other like-minded individuals. Artist Palmarin Merges will teach beginners at least 3 embroidery stitches. There will also be the opportunity to collage onto the item of clothing with scrap fabrics as part of the cloth journaling experience.
