Embodied Wisdom: A Living Yogic Practice is a monthly two-hour immersion designed to bring ancient yogic teachings into direct experience.
Each gathering explores a unique theme through yogic wisdom, pranayama, kriya, movement, sound, and community practice.
Each month, Michaela will introduce a timeless yogic teaching and guide participants through an experiential journey of breathwork, pranayama, kriya, and embodied practice.
Through direct experience rather than theory alone, these teachings become living wisdom - cultivating greater awareness, vitality, resilience, and connection to one's authentic nature.
Ana will weave a journey of Hatha yoga, breath work, sound healing, meditation, and embodied practice.
Rooted in Nature’s rhythms and the innate wisdom of your own physical vessel, each offering gently invites you to humble your brain into your heart; healing becomes a felt sense of spaciousness and aliveness. With a nervous-system-centered approach, Oceana creates a grounded sanctuary of renewal, self-honoring, and a deep return to your True Nature. Together, these practices create a space for transformation, self-discovery, and the cultivation of living wisdom that extends far beyond the mat.

About the Facilitators:
Ana of Oceana Yoga studied up to her 500 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training at Mira Costa College in San Diego. She also holds a certification in Health and Wellness Coaching (CPD Accredited). Her third Certification in Wildcrafting and Herbalism was earned at Earth Medicine Institute while living fully off grid on Hawai’i’s Big Island.
She spent years studying meditation and permaculture at various eco villages in California, New Mexico and Hawai’i. All the while, Ana deepened her knowledge in our relations to the earth, taught and studied different yoga and meditation modalities and explored the nature of her own consciousness.
Currently, Ana offers a culmination of her ever-expanding studies at yoga studios, resorts, through deep-dive private yoga journeys, conscious silent discos on the beach & crystal bowl sound healing on the California’s Central Coast.
Michaela Goorahoo is the founder of EXPAND+BREATHE® and a 500-Hour Integrative Himalayan Yoga Teacher, Pilates Instructor, Breathwork Facilitator, Sound + Energy Healer, and Movement Educator with over two decades of experience guiding others toward greater health, vitality, and self-discovery.
Her work exists at the intersection of science, psychology, spirituality, and embodied practice. Drawing from her studies in yoga, breathwork, movement, meditation, sound, and holistic healing, Michaela creates experiences that help people reconnect with themselves while cultivating resilience, clarity, and meaningful transformation.
Michaela is also a published co-author in Frontiers in Physiology, where her research explored diaphragmatic breathing and respiratory efficiency. She is passionate about bridging evidence-based approaches with the timeless wisdom of yoga and contemplative traditions.
Following extensive studies in India, her teaching now weaves together Integrative Himalayan Yoga, pranayama, kriya, meditation, mantra, movement, and sound to create practices that are both deeply rooted and accessible for modern life.
Through her work, she invites people to remember their innate wisdom, honor the intelligence of the body, and live with greater presence, purpose, and connection.
