Which comes first for you: the poem on the page, or on the stage? How can our poetry flow back and forth between pen and performance? How can the experience of performance enhance the words on the page?
This workshop explores your individual relationship with performance and poetry. Through exercises and exploration you will:
* discover your own untapped resources for more expressive, dynamic and embodied performance
* use the energy and emotion of the moment to make each performance unique and true to yourself
* explore how your experience of performance can enrich and enliven the drafting and editing process
