Embodied Flow | Transition to Winter
We use curiosity as a lens to unwind tension patterns that no longer serve us. Our journey is held with self-compassion and non-judgment.
The practice meets you where you're at. The slow and gentle pace offers an opportunity to ease into the rhythm without force.
Using interoception, a quiet noticing of our inner landscape, we learn to listen to our body's whispers.
🐚This nourishing offering is calling you if you are looking for…
🧡 Slow, gentle and hydrating movements that ease deep tension.
🧡 Nervous system support and resilience.
🧡 Breathwork to ease, restore and connect within.
🧡 A sacred space to nourish yourself because you are a facilitator or mom who holds space for others.
🧡 A simple yoga practice that is suitable for beginners.
🧡 Small class sizes with individualised support.
❄️ In June, our focus is on nurturing our transition into winter. We tune in to the water (kidney and bladder) and fire (heart and small intestine) elements and seek to balance these opposing forces. A strong kidney essence anchors excess fire, leaving you feeling more centred, less scattered, more stable, less anxious and able to sustain restorative sleep.

"I have been plagued with back issues since having children and having tried various forms of exercise to help build core strength nothing was a long-term solution until going to Katia’s core restore class. Imagine being able to get stuck into the garden without a month’s recovery - a game changer. The core strength work is so subtle; you can’t believe you are doing anything. For me the proof is in the fact that I haven’t had any back issues since starting Katia’s class and I seem to have gained strength and better mobility. I always leave the class feeling relaxed, more nimble, and unusually taller (having lengthened all those deep inner muscles I never knew existed). I can honestly say I do not know what I would do without the classes I even miss them when I am on holiday." Terri Bray
“I really enjoy the experience of yoga at the park. Katia has a lovely, gentle, calming presence. Connecting with nature, breathing in the fresh air, looking up at the beautiful trees and sky above, adds to the sense of peace and calm. I finish feeling lighter, refreshed and relaxed. My body was feeling tense after recent stressful events and too little sleep. And have been experiencing back pain for some time. My back pain improved for a few days afterward and my body has felt more relaxed.” Katrina McKeown.
"I love my online Core Restore sessions with Katia. She brings a calming influence, and creates a secure atmosphere through the screen. Her communication is clear and concise. She guides us through each movement; it is as we are physically in her class in her presence, making sure we are all moving safely throughout the class. I highly recommend Katia's online yoga classes." Jenn James
"I’m in awe of Katia’s classes! Her blissful presence and intentional connection, even over Zoom were very grounding and opening for me at a time (during lockdown) when I really craved connection and doing something for myself that would be healing and strengthening for my body and spirit. I would urge anyone to connect with Katia if they feel called." Sarah Ryan
“I absolutely loved yoga with Katia under the majestic trees in the park. So beautifully and expertly led. Gentle yet powerful. So good for the soul. I would highly recommend attending any of her classes.” Debbie Turbitt
“Yoga in the Park was an absolute joy! Katia's calm presence, thoughtful guidance and uplifting energy made the entire experience both relaxing and invigorating. Practising yoga under the beautiful grove of walnut trees in Waipuna added another dimension of peace and groundedness I didn't realise I needed. I left feeling refreshed, centred, and deeply grateful. Can’t wait to join again!” Namita Davey
