Embodied Altars LIVE: Indigenized Open-Level Contemporary Dance Class

Step into this unique session of EMBODIED ALTARS on May 20th, 2024 at Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center. Begin the evening with an all-levels dance class led by Indigenous artist Alicia Mullikin and set to the rhythms of Portland Musician and DJ NOETIK, an indigenous DJ who weaves stories through sound. Following the class is a vibrant celebration of culture and rhythm at our community Music and Dance Jam featuring live music by NOETIK . All are welcome to join this gathering where community thrives and harmony resonates. Whether you're a seasoned musician or dancer or simply tapping your feet to the rhythm, come immerse yourself in a fusion of traditions and contemporary vibes.
