Hei alle fine folka mine!
Matheus og jeg er stolte av å kunne presentere vår første konsert sammen i Oslo.
3. Januar 2025 klokken 19:00 i Tøyen kirke.
Tekster på engelsk, tekster på portugisisk, egenkomponert musikk, Jeff Buckley, João Gilberto, The beatles, the list goes on. Dette har blitt vår lille baby, vi arrangerer og styrer helt alene selv (så å si). Embla cirka 2 år hadde vært veldig fornøyd. Det skal bli sanger med fine og interessante tekster, harmonier, bassing, gitar og sang. Vi øver og organiserer på tvers av kontinenter, men samles tilslutt til denne konserten. Målet blir å kunne kose oss med musikken, hverandres selskap og kanskje klare å samle opp litt av pengene som ble brukt på flybilletter hahah<3

Matheus is a Brazilian who came to Norway with an exchange program called MOVE, and is now back to share his music once again. He is a guitarist and composer who has dedicated many years to studying and creating music. He has been part of several releases, one of which is his own album called: “Às Mãos Amigas”.
Embla is from Norway and grew up with music in her family. Joined by her brother, mother, and father she has performed and sung since 2015. In the last few years she has incorporated playing the piano and the bass in her works.
Embla Nordheim and Matheus Mantovani started playing together in 2023 when they were both students at Trøndertun Folkehøgskole. During this period they performed several concerts together, both in bands and as a duo. Then in April 2024 they began exploring a new concept for their expression, which focused on showcasing music they connected to and felt had a deeper meaning. This concept was presented as a concert where they both sang, Embla played the bass, and Matheus played the acoustic guitar. The repertoire included songs from different traditions and genres, but all aligned with a singer-songwriter approach. The focus then landing on lyrics, vocal harmonies, and minimalist arrangements.
